Appointments are easier when people can choose from controlled availability instead of sending messages back and forth.

Use Bookings when external or internal people need to schedule time with a service, department, or role. Use Outlook when the appointment is personal or one-off.

Use Bookings For

Bookings turns availability into a managed service. It reduces manual scheduling and makes the appointment process feel consistent for the person booking time.

Use My Calendars when the problem is not appointment intake, but showing calendar information from multiple Microsoft 365 sources in one SharePoint page.
